Rediscovered Medieval Spanish Bibles Highlight the Importance of Preservation

These reels of black and white 35mm microfilm could be the only intact copies of Madrid Codex 31 and 32 left in the world today. 

Earlier this summer, a researcher in England found a manuscript microfilm record in HMML’s online database for an extremely important early Latin Bible that had been largely destroyed in the Spanish Civil war.
