In the early 21st century, HMML undertook its final microfilm project—and its first project in Scandinavia—at the National Library (Kungliga Biblioteket) in Stockholm. HMML filmed over 600 manuscripts under the guidance of Father Aelred Tegels, OSB, and then Father John Kulas, OSB. Along with manuscripts in Swedish and Danish, the collection includes materials in Latin and other European vernaculars, some of which came to Sweden from Central Europe during the 30-Years War of the 17th century.
