Collection of the Georges and Mathilde (Matilde) Salem Foundation, whose founders were members of the Melkite Greek Catholic Church, comprising about half of the manuscripts collected by the Syriac Catholic priest Paul Sbath. Includes a diverse array of both Christian and Muslim materials, such as treatises on grammar, logic, language, law, theology, and other topics, primarily in Arabic.
