HMML Completes Armenian Manuscript Project in Aleppo, Syria

The Rev. Columba Stewart, OSB, executive director of the Hill Museum & Manuscript Library at Saint John’s University announces the completion of a pivotal manuscript preservation project in the Middle East. HMML-trained technicians in Aleppo, Syria, have completed the digitization of 225 Armenian manuscripts belonging to the Armenian Orthodox Diocese of Aleppo. This is the largest Armenian collection in Syria.
