Bibliothèque al-Cady al-Aqib
This is the library of the Sankoré Mosque or Jāmiʻ Sankūrī, a mosque and madrasah in Tombouctou (Timbuktu) that dates back to the 14th century. Also known as the Maktabat al-Qāḍī al-ʻĀqib (مكتبة القاضي العاقب), its collection of manuscripts was photographed by HMML in cooperation with the Endangered Libraries In Timbuktu (ELIT) project of the Endangered Archives Program (EAP).
