The music manuscripts includes works by Pietro Paolo Bugeja, Giuseppe Burlon, Salvatore Magrin, among other notable composers.
Cospicua became a parish in 1586. The current church dedicated to the Immaculate Conception was elevated to collegiate status in 1822.
