Domschatzkammer Essen
From the diocesan treasury in Essen, HMML filmed 28 manuscripts, chiefly dating from the 8th to the 16th c. Several of these manuscripts contain liturgical texts, but they also include prayer books, Bibles and other works. Of special interest are two Gospel Books from the 8th/9th c. and the 10th c.
