Assyrian Church of the East. Patriarchate

Manuscripts digitized in partnership with Centre Numérique des Manuscrits Orientaux (CNMO). This collection consists of approximately 350 manuscripts, primarily in Syriac. Much of the collection was gathered from various Assyrian families and villages by the previous catholicos-patriarch Gewargis III (in office 2015-2021) as part of his efforts to relocate the patriarchate from Chicago to Erbil. In October 2023, Archbishop Najeeb Michaeel of the Centre Numérique des Manuscrits Orientaux (CNMO) signed an agreement with Catholicos-Patriarch Awa III to digitize this collection.
