The Malta Study Center microfilmed 25 archival volumes containing land registers, legal documents, notarial records, historical works, account books, and church records dating from the 16th-20th century. In 2024, the Malta Study Center began digitizing over 150 volumes from the archive, including the beatification proceedings of Blessed Maria Adeodata Pisani.

The Monastery of Saint Peter was established as a women's Benedictine community during the early fifteenth century, and supports an adjacent church dedicated to Saint Peter and Saint Benedict. The church was remodelled in 1625 by Bishop Baldassare Cagliares (1575-1633).
