Mihanović Family Archive: HMML Repository

Mihanović Family Archive

The collection of Poljice documents, which are today kept in the Mihanović family archive in Donji Sitno near Split, consists of over 150 documents written in the Bosnian and Latin alphabets. These are mainly documents – purchase and sale contracts, mortgages, wills, etc. – created in the period from the 16th to the 20th century. Among the 150 documents, there are close to 100 in Cyrillic: most of them are documents, but among the documents there is also a collection of prayers. Some documents also have their own versions in the Italian language.
