Burgbibliothek
This castle, located 15 miles north of Vienna, dates from the early 12th c. Destroyed and rebuilt several times during its history, it was finally restored in its present form in the 19th c. HMML has films of 20 late medieval manuscripts that were here in the 1960s, but some have since moved to the Austrian National Library and the Staatsbibliothek zu Berlin--Preussischer Kulturbesitz.
