Stift Mattsee. Bibliothek

Founded by Bavarian Duke Tassilo III in 765, Stift Mattsee became a collegiate church in the 11th c. and remains one today. The collection was microfilmed at the behest of HMML and includes 43 manuscripts, chiefly from the 15th c.
